Who we are

Launch Media is a marketing agency that builds and scales brands through websites, paid advertising, email and SMS, affiliates and creative. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us, and what our website collects while you browse it.

It covers www.launchmedia.org and the lead forms we run on advertising platforms, including Facebook and Instagram instant forms. If you are a client, the work we do inside your own accounts is governed by our agreement with you, not by this page.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on our site, or a Facebook or Instagram lead form, you give us:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Details about your business, such as the type of brand you run and what you are looking for
  • Anything else you choose to type into a message or booking form

Our website also records, automatically:

  • Your IP address and browser information
  • The page you landed on, the page that referred you, and how you move through the site
  • Campaign tags in the link you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term)
  • Advertising click identifiers (fbclid from Meta, gclid from Google) and the cookies that store them

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identifiers, health information or any other sensitive category of personal information through this site.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and answer what you asked
  • To book and run a call, including through our scheduling calendar
  • To send you marketing emails, SMS and follow-ups about our services — you can opt out at any time
  • To measure which ads and pages actually bring people in, so we spend our own budget sensibly
  • To keep the site working, prevent spam and abuse, and keep our own records

If you opt out of marketing, we will still contact you about something you specifically asked for, such as a call you booked.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technology on this site. Some are needed for the site to work. Others measure traffic and advertising performance.

Specifically, this site loads:

  • The Meta (Facebook) pixel, which reports page views and form submissions back to our advertising account and sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies
  • The Whop advertising pixel, which reports the same kind of activity to our Whop advertising account

We also send some of these events from our server rather than your browser, so that our reporting stays accurate when a browser blocks scripts. Those server events carry the same information described above.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site or from contacting us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s independent advertising. We do pass it to the companies that run parts of our business for us, and only so they can do that work:

  • Our CRM and scheduling system, which stores your contact details and runs our calendar and follow-up messages
  • Meta and Whop, which receive advertising events so we can measure our own campaigns
  • Our website host and internal team messaging tools, which process the form submission on its way to us

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client records for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can answer questions about the work and meet our tax and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct it if it is wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop sending you marketing — every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to an SMS

Depending on where you live, such as California under the CCPA or the UK and EU under the UK GDPR and GDPR, you may have further rights, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. We will not charge you for a request or refuse one on the basis of where you live.

To make a request, email support@launchmedia.org. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we are not handing your details to someone else.

Children

This site and our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who on our team can see it. No website or company can promise perfect security, and we are not going to claim otherwise.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be obvious here rather than buried.
